1. Who we are
This website is operated by Bambuu Baby (“we”, “us”), a business based in the United Kingdom. Our postal address is 2 Malthouse Cottages, Wisborough Green, West Sussex, RH14 0ES, and you can contact us at info@bambuubaby.co.uk.
2. Placing an order
By placing an order you confirm you are at least 18 years old. Your order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we email you to confirm it has been paid and is being prepared. If we can’t fulfil an order (for example, an item has sold out), we’ll tell you and refund you in full.
We may create an account for you when you check out so you can view your order. You can set a password using the link we email you, or ignore it - nothing else happens with the account.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Postage is shown separately before you pay. Payment is taken in full at the time of order through Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
We check prices carefully, but if a product is obviously mis-priced we may cancel the order and refund you rather than supply it at the wrong price.
4. Delivery
Delivery is as described on our Delivery & Returns page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us; ownership passes when we receive payment in full.
5. Your right to cancel and returns
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel an order for goods within 14 days of receiving them, for any reason, and a further 14 days to return them. Our Delivery & Returns page sets out how to do this and what we refund. Where you simply change your mind, items must be unused, unwashed and in their original packaging, and a £3 processing fee applies; this does not apply to faulty goods.
Gift cards: because a gift card is delivered immediately by email, you agree that the cancellation right ends once the card has been used; an unused card can be cancelled and refunded within 14 days of purchase.
6. Gift cards
- Gift cards are redeemable against products on this website only and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Any remaining balance stays on the card for future orders.
- A gift card cannot be used to buy another gift card.
- Keep your code safe - we treat anyone who presents the code as entitled to use it.
- Gift cards do not expire unless an expiry date is stated when they are issued.
7. Promotions
Free-gift and other promotions are subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. The qualifying spend is calculated on the product subtotal after any discounts and before postage.
8. Product information and safety
We describe our products as accurately as we can; colours may vary slightly between screens and the real thing. Please follow the care guide on each product. Always follow safe-sleep guidance from the NHS and The Lullaby Trust: blankets, swaddles and sheets should be used as directed and babies should never be left with loose bedding in a way that could cover their face.
9. Our liability
We are responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care, but not for losses that were not foreseeable or that you could have avoided. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
10. General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and any dispute can be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales (or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there). If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you order applies to that order.
